Takoda Metoxen, a right-handed pitcher from Franklin High School in Wisconsin, will join the Memphis Baseball program for the 2016 season, head coach Daron Schoenrock announced Wednesday.
"Takoda projects as a power pitcher with good feel of his secondary pitches. He has the work ethic and drive to be successful and we anxiously await his arrival," head coach Daron Schoenrock said.
Metoxen plays for the Rawlings Hitters in Wisconsin, despite missing time in 2015 because of an injury. In 2014 for the Hitters he compiled a 2.35 ERA with 54 strikeouts in 41 2/3 innings pitched.
