STARKVILLE, Miss. – University of Memphis senior reset her school record in the women's javelin to pace the Tigers in Saturday action at Mississippi State's Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays.
Pryke won the event with a school-record throw of 188-6 (57.47m). Her previous school record was 186-9 (56.93m), which she posted with her third-place (bronze) performance at the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Championships. Pryke's throw of 188-6 (57.47m) also shattered the Mississippi State track and field stadium record. The previous stadium record was 178-8 (54.45m), which she also set at last year's Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays.
Saturday's javelin title was the 17 of Pryke's career.
