MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The 2020 University of Memphis PAWSCARS was held Wednesday online, and the virtual ceremony – which can be seen on Tigers Athletics Instagram story area – celebrated the 2019-20 athletics year. The PAWSCARS wrapped up with the announcement of the athletics department's two highest student-athlete honors: the Elma Roane and Zach Curlin Awards.
Senior Stasia Mallin, a defender on the women's soccer squad, received the Elma Roane Award, and senior Patrick Taylor Jr., a running back on the football team, was honored with the Zach Curlin Award. Mallin and Taylor were recognized for their accomplishments in Wednesday's online celebration.
