ORLANDO, Fla. – After a heartbreaking loss to Seton Hall at the buzzer on Thanksgiving night, the Memphis Tigers will look to bounce back Friday afternoon against Nebraska at the ESPN Events Invitational.
Tipoff between the Huskers and Tigers is set for 4:30 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcasted on ESPNews.
NOTES
- Friday's matchup will just be the second meeting between the schools in program history. The Tigers won an 86-79 game on Dec. 22, 1954.
- Penny Hardaway and Nebraska's head coach Fred Hoiberg are two of the 23 former NBA players on the sidelines for a Division I program this season.
