MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The 37th-ranked Memphis Tiger men's tennis team knocked off No. 49 UCF Sunday afternoon in Memphis, Tenn., 4-2.
The Tigers (13-6) have defeated two ranked teams this year, both in conference action.
"Today was a great win against a very good UCF team," Memphis head coach Paul Goebel said. "It was a true team effort, and this should give us some positive momentum heading into the final couple of weeks of the season."
Memphis battled to wins on doubles courts two and three to earn the day's opening point.
