MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The 31st-ranked Memphis Tigers picked up their fourth-straight win with a 4-1 victory over Middle Tennessee Sunday afternoon in Memphis, Tenn.
The Tigers (9-5) have not lost in nearly a calendar month, since a March 13 setback at No. 30 Tulane.
Memphis' doubles team of Patrick Sydow/Jan Pallares improved to 10-2 on the season with a 6-2 win, and the Tigers earned the doubles point with a 6-3 Oscar Cutting/David Stevenson win.
Stevenson gave the Tigers the first singles point with a 6-3, 6-1 win in the third spot, and Middle Tennessee (13-7) got on the board with a 6-3, 6-2 win by Stijn Slump over Cutting in the number-two position.
