WACO, Texas – The No. 28 University of Memphis men's tennis team fell, 4-0, to Baylor Sunday, despite hanging tough with the fourth-ranked Bears, at Hurd Tennis Center.
The Tigers got off to solid start in doubles action with Felix Rauch and Ryan Peniston holding a 4-3 advantage on court two, while Andrew Watson and Kai Lemke were 4-all with the 29th-ranked tandem of Juan Benitez and Will Little.
The Bears' pair of Constantin Frantzen and Max Tchoutakian, though, claimed their match on court three meaning Baylor would only have to close out one more contest to earn the doubles point.
