STILLWATER, Okla. – In a battle of ranked teams, 26th-ranked Oklahoma State picked up a 4-1 win over the No. 22 Memphis Tigers men's tennis squad Tuesday afternoon in Stillwater, Okla.
The Tigers (5-4) won the doubles point to get the match off on the right foot. Memphis' No. 1 team of Oscar Cutting/David Stevenson took down Oklahoma State's top pair, 6-3, and James Story/Jeremy Taylor followed with a 6-4 victory from the third position.
But the Cowboys won the first four singles points to clinch the match.
