MEMPHIS, Tenn. – No. 20/18 Memphis women's soccer capped its first road trip of the season with a 1-0 victory against the Omaha Mavericks on Sunday afternoon.
Although the Tigers sustained pressure in the attacking zone throughout the day, senior Serena Dolan's goal in the 32nd minute of play was all the offense needed to secure the win.
"It wasn't the prettiest of performances. We weren't as sharp as we have been the first three games. Credit to Omaha, they made it difficult," head coach Brooks Monaghan said. "Winning isn't easy and we found a way to win today.
