GREENVILLE, N.C. – The University of Memphis baseball team dropped game two to No. 14 East Carolina, 10-3, on Saturday at Clark-LeClair Stadium in a three-game American Athletic Conference series.
With the setback, the Tigers move to 26-24 (8-12 AAC) on the season. The Pirates improved to 37-14 (14-6) on the year with the win and have now won six-straight games.
"[Dalton] Fowler came out and pitched well for a good amount of time and at the end of the day they just played better baseball than we did," head coach Kerrick Jackson said.
