MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis women's soccer freshman Elis Nemtsov has been called up to compete with the Israeli Women's National Team as part of the UEFA Women's EURO qualifiers.
It's the first career call up to the full national team for the Bradford, Ontario native. Nemtsov, who was born in Haifa, Israel, has previously been a member of the U-17 and U-19 Israeli National Teams and competed in EURO qualifiers and Elite tournaments.
"It's a great opportunity for me. It's my first call up to the full national team," Nemtsov said. "Training and playing with this group will be a great experience for me to see how soccer is in Europe and how women in the professional level play.
