MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Landers Nolley II, a 6-foot-7 guard/forward from Virginia Tech, will be eligible to play for the University of Memphis men's basketball team this season after the NCAA approved his transfer Thursday.
Nolley will be a strong addition to Tiger coach Penny Hardaway's third Memphis team. He was a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Freshman Team last season and averaged 15.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists in his lone season with the Hokies.
Nolley also was named All-ACC Honorable Mention and was a member of the 2019-20 ACC Men's Basketball All-Academic Team.
