MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis head coach Natalie Poole earned her 500th career victory in the Tigers 5-4 win over DePaul Friday evening at the UofM Softball Tournament. The Tigers rallied with four runs in the bottom of the fifth to win their fifth straight contest and improve to 10-9 on the year.
The contest against the Blue Demons wasn't without theatrics as Memphis threw two base runners out at home and hit back-to-back home runs to regain the lead.
Memphis started the game off with one run in the first to take an early lead.
