MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Sophomore outfielder Gracie Morton earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced Monday afternoon. This is the first time in her young career she has been recognized by the AAC.
Morton had a solid showing at the plate last weekend at the Mardi Gras Classic hosted by South Alabama, posting a .412 batting average with three multi-hit games and three doubles. She led the team with seven RBI and was only struck out one time in 18 at bats.
Against South Alabama on Friday night, Morton went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two doubles and three runs driven in.
