MEMPHIS – Senior tight end was named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List it was announced at the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce East Texas Kick-Off Luncheon, Tuesday. The award is given annually to the top offensive player in Division 1 football who exhibits the characteristics that define Earl Campbell: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, and tenacity to persist in the pursuit of reaching goals.
In addition to the above characteristics, the nominees must meet one or more of the following criteria: be born in Texas and/or graduated from a Texas high school and/or play at a Texas-based junior college or four year college.
