BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Memphis men's tennis dropped a closely-fought opening match Friday afternoon at Indiana. After taking the doubles point against the Hoosiers, the Tigers would win courts 2 and 4, but were unable to clinch on the final court.
Memphis won the first point of the day, opening the afternoon with a win in the doubles portion of the contest. The team of and won on court 2, while and captured court 3.
Five of the six singles matches were won in straight sets, before a back-and-forth court 1 made the final decision in three sets.
