MEMPHIS, Tenn. –The University of Memphis battled American Athletic Conference leader Tulsa to a scoreless match through regulation and the first overtime session at the Billy J. Murphy Soccer/Track and Field Complex Sunday. However, the Golden Hurricane netted the golden goal 50 seconds into the second extra session for the win.
The setback drops the Tigers to 1-6 overall and 1-6 in the league. Tulsa sits atop the AAC standings with a 4-1-1 league record (4-1-1 overall).
