MEMPHIS, Tennessee – The Memphis men's soccer team closed its non-conference schedule with a 4-1 loss to Central Arkansas on Tuesday. The Tigers now shift their focus on three league matches down the stretch of the regular season.
Memphis started on its heels from the early moments of the match, surrendering a PK in the second minute. Before the Tigers could regroup, UCA put another score on the board.
A sloppy first half plagued the Tigers, as possession was tough to maintain for the home team. Memphis, a team that usually counter-attacks well, struggled to respond on defensive stops and create offense.
