MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tigers pushed USF to a 1-1 tie Saturday afternoon at the Billy J. Murphy Track & Soccer Complex in an American Athletic Conference match-up. The tie moves Memphis to 3-7-4 on the year and 1-2-2 in AAC play.
"We started off slow, but after a tactical change during the first half we responded well," said head coach Richard Mulrooney. "This was a chess match, back-and-forth. We've been in those before. For both teams to get a point out of this is probably a fair result."
USF took the early lead on the Tigers in the 8th minute of the contest.
