MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's soccer team has released its challenging 2016 schedule that features five opponents who played in last season's NCAA Tournament, head coach Richard Mulrooney announced Monday.
The Tigers' schedule features eight matches at home and five meetings with teams that featured in the NCAA Tournament a year ago, including American Athletic Conference foes UConn, SMU, Tulsa and USF as well as Cal State Fullerton.
Memphis will open the season on the road with a match at rival UAB on August 26 before heading to Atlanta, Ga. to play at Georgia State on Aug.
