KILLEN, Ala. – The final rounds for University of Memphis golfers and Tuesday at the University of North Alabama Spring Classic were impressive.
Participating in the event at Turtle Point Yacht & Country Club as individuals, Giles fired an even-par 72 for 218 and Chevalier shot 73 for 221. Giles recorded a Top 10 finish (tie for 8) by moving up 13 spots on the leaderboard Tuesday. Chevalier jumped 15 spots to finish in a tie for 17.
It was the best result of the spring for both Tigers' golfers.
Aaron Jackson of UNA was the medalist in the 76-player field.
