FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Memphis golfer Bradley Bawden was named to the Division I Ping All-Region Southeast Team, completing a remarkable senior season for the Hockley, England native.
Bawden helped the Tigers to a berth in the NCAA Athens Regional and narrowly missed advancing to the NCAA Championships as an individual. Bawden's three-round total of 2-under 211 was one shot more than Nevada's Stephen Osborne, who claimed the only individual at-large berth available.
Bawden also was instrumental in the Tigers claiming their first American Athletic Conference championship title, which automatically qualified the UofM for the NCAA regional appearance.
