PALM HARBOR, Fla. – Led by the play of senior Bradley Bawden, the University of Memphis will enter the American Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship with some momentum.
The Championship will be played April 21, 22 and 23 at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort. The winner earns an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Bawden, from Hockley, England, had a top 10 finish in the Mason Rudolph Championship two weeks ago in Franklin, Tenn., and followed with a top 20 finish at the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship at West Point, Miss.
Bawden has had six consecutive rounds – and eight of his last nine – under par.
