COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. - The Memphis Tigers shot a second-round 294, climbing one spot into fifth place overall at the Franklin American Mortgage Intercollegiate. The Tigers are nine strokes out of first place in the tournament, and seven out of second place.
Memphis' two-day total of 587 stands fifth, just behind Ole Miss (578), College of Charleston (580), Cincinnati (583), and Middle Tennessee (586). McNeese State and Georgia are tied for sixth place directly behind the Tigers with a 588, while Kennesaw State and Troy are tied with a 590.
Freshman shot a one-over 73, which put him at two over par for the two rounds, tied for 13th in the field.
