NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Memphis men's cross country team made its return to the U.S. Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches (USTFCCCA) rankings for the first time since 2014, with the release of the organization's regional polls Tuesday.
The Tigers are No. 11 in the USTFCCCA South Region. Memphis is one of seven American Athletic Conference programs ranked among the nine regional polls.
Memphis' USTFCCCA South Region ranking is the program's first since 2014 when the Tigers No. 13 in the region's preseason poll. Memphis did not appear in the poll the remainder of the 2014 campaign.
