MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Jeremiah Martin is showing no signs of slowing down.
The University of Memphis senior guard scored a game-high 30 points – his fifth of 30 or more points this month – to lead the Tigers past Temple, 81-73, Tuesday night in an American Athletic Conference game at FedExForum.
Martin, the reigning conference player of the week, entered the game averaging 30.7 points in seven February games. Against Temple he made 11 of 16 field goals, but, more importantly, he scored 10 straight points in the final five minutes to preserve a double-digit lead.
