CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Memphis baseball team went on the road for the first time this season and defeated Central Arkansas, 8-6, at Bear Field on Tuesday night. The Tigers won their fourth-straight game and improved to 7-2 to begin the season.
"It was a good win tonight," head coach Kerrick Jackson said. "We got solid pitching performances across the board, made some mistakes on defense, but we were able to capitalize and score some runs to jump out early. They settled down with their pitching staff and threw up some zeroes.
