MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis track and field heads to Oxford, Miss., to compete in the Ole Miss Classic for its second outdoor meet this season.
Events begin at 3 p.m. Friday at the Ole Miss Track & Field Complex with both the men's and women's hammer throw, but the remainder of the field events and all running events are set for Saturday.
Both the track and field athletes had success in the season opener at the Rhodes Invitational last weekend. Double-winner Adam Neelly was honored as the American Athletic Conference's Male Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the league Wednesday.
