DENTON, Texas – The Memphis Tigers women's tennis team picked up its second-straight win with a come-from-behind triumph over North Texas Monday night in Denton, Texas, 4-3.
Memphis has won three of its last five matches after also defeating Lipscomb on Friday, 6-1.
North Texas picked up the doubles point, despite Memphis winning the first match behind Camila Soares/Josephine Cao, 7-5. The Mean Green grabbed the next two matches to take a 1-0 lead in the contest.
The Tigers turned around and won the first two singles points to take a 2-1 lead.
