The University of Memphis will honor former head basketball coach John Calipari's induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame with a dinner on Dec. 28.
The Naismith Hall of Fame will hold its Enshrinement Ceremony this weekend in Springfield, Mass.
Calipari was the head coach at the University of Memphis for nine seasons, from 2000 to 2009.
More information about the December event, which will benefit the University of Memphis Men's Basketball program, will be forthcoming.
The occasion is tied to events also being held on the campuses of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where Calipari previously coached, and the University of Kentucky, where he is currently head coach.
