JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Memphis softball team recorded their first win of the season as they split day one of the JU/UNF Invitational. The Tigers defeated Bethune-Cookman, 2-1, in game one before falling to Jacksonville University, 6-2. The Tigers move to 1-5 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Memphis struck first with Kendall Lee hitting the Tigers' first homerun of the season in the top of the fourth inning over the fence in left-center field.
• BCU tied the game back up in the bottom of the fifth inning, on an RBI single off the bat of bat of Jordyn Villanueva.
