MURRAY, KY. –Memphis softball wins on the road in extras at Murray State 3-2. This is the first extra innings game for the Tigers this season and the first since a 3-10 home loss to Wichita State April 12, 2019. The Tigers are now 9-4 all-time against the Racers and 5-1 in Murray, Kentucky.
Hallie Siems got the start tonight in the circle for the Tigers. She went five innings, giving up two runs on two hits. Chyanne Ellet got the win throwing three scoreless innings with five strikeouts.
The Tigers got on the board first in the second inning, as Delaney Smith hit a single to left to score Meagan Chism.
