MEMPHIS, TENN. –Memphis softball splits doubleheader with Indiana State 6-1 and 8-2. The Tigers are now 4-3 all-time against the Sycamores.
GAME 1
Mariah Nichols got the start in the circle for the Tigers. She started the game off with three straight strikeouts in the first inning then had a one two three inning in second. Nichols went three and a thirds innings, giving up six runs on five hits. Kailey Hilderbrand finished the game for the Tigers only giving up three and striking out three.
After two scoreless innings for both teams, Indiana State scored two runs in the third inning.
