Memphis Slips Up at Georgia State

ATLANTA, Ga. – Memphis and Georgia State played a very tight first 60 minutes and were tied 1-1 before the Panthers pulled away for a 4-1 win Sunday afternoon at the GSU Soccer Complex. Junior Chandler Klemm scored his first goal of the season for Memphis.

"Georgia State was the better team today. They deserved to win and that was true from the first minute until the final," Memphis head Richard Mulrooney said. "We were fortunate to get to halftime 0-0 and we tried to make some adjustments. This is a tough early lesson for us.
