Memphis men’s golf defeats Minnesota in Spartan Collegiate at Sea Island

ST. SIMON'S ISLAND, Ga. – A year later, Memphis men's golf returned to action to finish in a tie for 14^th in the Spartan Intercollegiate at the Plantation Course at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Ga., Tuesday, defeating Minnesota of the Big Ten.

Tyran Sanders tied for 42^nd with a 73-74-73—220 ahead of Guillaume Chevalier in a tie for 51^st at 75-72-75—222, Borja Martin in 70^th at 76-75-79—230, Esteban Vazquez in 71^st at 81-73-77—231 and Alec Stopperich in a tie for 75^th at 73-81-82—236.
