Dedric Lawson took over in the second half and scored 28 points, with 22 coming after halftime, as Memphis pulled away for an 80-65 win over Southeast Missouri State. The Tigers have now won three straight games.
Memphis led 37-35 at halftime after a first period that featured 10 ties and three lead changes. The Redhawks wouldn't have the opportunity to tie the game at all in the second half though as the Tigers outscored them 43-30 after halftime.
Shaq Goodwin added 20 points and Ricky Tarrant, Jr. finished with 15 points.
