MEMPHIS – The 2019 University of Memphis football intro video was awarded a gold medal as best in the nation at the FBS level by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Marketing (NACMA) on Wednesday.
Visually, the intro video used blue fire - the hottest form of fire - to emphasize that Memphis has one of the most explosive offenses in the country and is one of the hottest teams and brands in the country. This blue fire theme was used in all branding and marketing for the season, including the intro video, which incorporated band, cheer, dance, mascot and key players, inter cut with highlights.
