MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Arkansas scored five runs over the first two innings and went on to hand Memphis a 12-3 loss Wednesday night at AutoZone Park. The Tigers (10-18) will next hit the road for Tampa, Fla. for a three-game weekend series at USF.
Darien Tubbs went 3-for-5 at the plate and drove in a run in the game. Jake Little also had a multiple hit game, going 2-for-4.
Jonathan Bowlan started and pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing four earned runs on seven hits. Five other Tiger pitchers – Hunter Smith, Trey McNickle, James Muse, Colton Neel and Nolan Blackwood – combined to throw the final 4 1/3 innings of the game.
