GREENVILLE. N.C. – The Memphis softball team dropped game two to ECU, 4-2, after a later surge to comeback. The Tigers (7-34) found opportunities late in the game, along with holding the Pirates scoreless after the first inning, however they were unable to pull out the comeback.
"Softball is a game of adjustments and we are looking to make adjustments with every pitch and at bat." head coach Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro said. "We made a few mistakes in the first inning, but I think the girls made some good plays and adjustments throughout to hold ECU through the end of the game.
