MEMPHIS, Tenn.– The Memphis softball team dropped their final home game, 10-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers (8-42) struggled in the circle, giving up 12 runs, including three homeruns in the five innings played. The Knights also held strong defensively allowing only two hits in the game.
"I thought we had a few good moments today but we need to have more consistency across the board." Said head coach Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro. "We need to have better quality play from our pitchers and we need to clean up a little more defensively. Overall I think we saw some good things over the weekend and we need to keep working through the process as we head to conference next week.
