MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tiger softball team dropped a close game against SIUE 3-0, Sunday afternoon after a strong defensive showing from both teams. The Tigers (2-15) held the Cougars to one hit following the third inning, while creating big defensive moments in the outfield.
"We had opportunities to win the game but we need to find ways to capitalize on opportunities, somebody got to want to score runs." Said head coach Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro. "Overall we're still going to stick with the process and just keep on trying to get better."
