CINCINNATI, Ohio – The University of Memphis women's basketball team saw its three-game winning streak come to an end Saturday with an 80-56 setback to Cincinnati. The Tigers return home for the next three games, looking to bounce back after dropping to 8-11 overall and 3-3 in American Athletic Conference play.
The game started with alternating runs, as Cincinnati opened the contest on a 7-2 burst. Memphis responded with its own 10-0 run capped by Jada Stinson's first three-pointer of the first half.
Stinson's three lifted Memphis to a 14-9 advantage with 1:49 remaining in the first quarter.
