CINCINNATI, Ohio – Cincinnati scored nine runs over the first two innings to cruise to a 16-4 win over Memphis Saturday night at Marge Schott Stadium. The Tigers (13-26, 4-7 American) drop their second consecutive series with the loss and will have a chance to salvage a game on Sunday at noon (CT).
Memphis jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first after Darien Tubbs started the ballgame with a single into centerfield and was sacrificed to second base by Zach Schritenthal. Jake Little drove in the game's first run with a double to left field.
