TAMPA, Fla. – Opening its final road trip of the regular season, Memphis men's tennis dropped a 4-2 contest at No. 44 USF Friday afternoon.
An early advantage in doubles for Memphis wasn't enough as the home side collected three singles wins at the top of the lineup and scored a victory at the bottom to take the league victory.
Memphis worked quickly in the opening point, scoring wins on courts 1 and 2 for the early edge. No. 60 duo and earned a ranked victory, downing No. 67 tandem Alberto Barroso-Campos and Pierre Luquet by a final of 6-2.
