CHATTANOOGA, TN – The Memphis softball team fell in the rainy day one of the Frost Classic. The Tigers (2-10) made a late run in their first game of the day before falling 9-6 to Eastern Illinois, followed by 8-0 loss to Akron.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Eastern Illinois struck first as (player) made the score 2-0 in the bottom of the first inning.
• The Panthers added a large lead in the top of the third inning, scoring four runs as (player) hit a grand slam putting them up 6-0.
