MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball team put together a dominating performance against an MLB International Academy team, winning 11-0, Monday afternoon at FedExPark.
"The thing we did today was just deny free bases and if you do that it means you are dominating the routine and throwing a lot of strikes," Memphis head coach Daron Schoenrock said. "Offensively we are going to be a team that will swing the bat 1-through-9. The guys were excited to have the opportunity to play somebody in a different uniform in the fall, which we don't get very often.
