MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball team came from behind, twice, to take down Arkansas State, 7-6, on Wednesday night at FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field. The Tigers used a four-run seventh inning to rally from a three-run deficit and hung on for the win.
With the win, Memphis improved to 13-9 on the season and has won three-straight games and five of its last six. The Red Wolves dropped to 7-13 on the season with the loss.
"Great come-back win tonight," head coach Kerrick Jackson said. "We had some up and down pitching performances and had some guys pick up some guys who were struggling a bit.
