MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Six goals in the first 28 minutes of play helped No. 14 Memphis women's soccer to a 6-0 victory against Southeastern Louisiana on Thursday night at Park Avenue Campus.
The Tigers registered 36 shots, which marks the most in a decade when Memphis attempted 50 shots against Evansville in 2009.
"I was pleased with tonight. We challenged the kids to come out with energy from the get-go, and they did," head coach Brooks Monaghan said. "The last time we played here, I don't think that happened. That was the message, to truly put them under pressure.
