Memphis' Big Second Round Pushes Tigers to Ninth

SHOAL CREEK, Ala. – The Memphis Tigers closed the day at the 2017 Shoal Creek Intercollegiate with a team score of 281, the lowest single round by a Memphis squad since the 2016 American Athletic Conference Championships' final round.

Memphis' 281 was the second-lowest single round of the tournament, trailing only Ole Miss' 280 in the same round and was 20 strokes better than the team's first round score – the biggest improvement over the two rounds in the field.

Wake Forest leads the field with a two-round total of 567, while Notre Dame (571), UAB (572), and Liberty (573) round out the top four.
