Memphis started the match firing on all cylinders and jumped ahead 2-0 before No. 24 USF stormed back in the second half with two goals of their own to send the two teams to overtime where the match finished 2-2 Sunday at Corbett Stadium.
Marie Levasseur scored in the eighth minute to break a home scoreless streak by USF. The Bulls had not allowed a goal at home in any of their six matches and had a perfect 6-0 record coming into Sunday.
Less than three minutes later, Levasseur made a defense-splitting pass that set up Valerie Sanderson with a one-on-one with the goalkeeper and Sanderson buried the goal to make the score 2-0.
